    That is not a bad price on the 2x4 or 2x3. I bought a bunch of steel today and I asked if prices were truly going to come down and was told that they had. I don't about scrap other than it has come way down in the past couple of months.

    The Horrible Freight ones work after you throw away the the lock washer and flat washer. Magnets suck and the Eastwood sheet metal clamps are the same as HF for a lot more money. Not sure how Cleco's would work on a chop top. Don't forget a spray bottle of water to cool the welds so the metal...

    Thanks everyone! Stripped the paint off of the cab. Between Jasco and 3M C.R.U.D. pads on the angle grinder it work well. Shortened the bed 10" and cut the floor out. Hanging the fenders off the back of the bed and I'll build a roll pan to go between them for the tail...
