I do alot of brake lines being a mechanic in ohio. I never had a problem doing them by hand with the KD flare tool. But it just takes to long and its a pain. so i bought a hydralic flare tool. fast simple and perfect every time. but it is $300. all i can say is make sure you cuts are straight...

i wouldnt do it. ive seen it done. but you need to have awsome welds. plus once you drive it and the welds flex you get small leaks. a frame flexes way to much. plus the tank size is very small if you are only using part of the frame. I would just buy a 5 gallon tank.

I Made a set of grinders on my s10. I built a few years ago. Firstone fr380 got them for $20 a piece. Its nice to get things at cost being a mechanic.

Rivets are cheaper thats why. Alot of money to put in bolts with lock nuts. Grinder and an air hammer are your best friend.

I blame it on e-bay and people like that american pickers show. Now every ones junk is worth 100s of dollars.

all i have it a body too. still love to see a sedan. easy way to resize is open in paint, go to image then resize.
