Couper, When I was in my early twenties I had the same problem with my 5-window '51 Chev AD & my dad came up with some really cool chrome boat trailer tail lights that were on I guess what you'd call a post! Might give that a try! Sort of like this... Chrome Die-Cast Honda Pedestal Light W/ 2...

Well it finally got above freezing here! Overall it's been a very mild Winter so we'll probably had a blazing hot Summer like we did last year! I actually had to feed my cows during last Summer because it was so hot nothing would grow! BoB

They've tried to do stupid stuff like that here but our car scene is really big & they make any politico who comes up with BS like that pay the price! Old cars are really big biz in the state & like anywhere else... $$$ talks! BoB
