How to remove my trunk lock cylinder?

Drill, die grinder and some patience...

    Torch?

Ok I'll bite - Why are you only wanting a single tank? No one is reinventing the wheel here - just use what works. A decent torch rig is a pretty crucial component even in a home garage. Treat yourself...

Bending window run channel 90 degrees

Yes it is possible to bend it around the glass. After you do, you will have to reshape the edges of the channel as they will bow out. It will kink up a little, but the structure inside is like a thin corrugated metal and usually flattens out pretty good. If you need to, tamp it down with a...

    Cheap and effective hand cleaner.

If you're packing bearings by hand, just wear gloves. $5 for a box of 100. Problem solved while avoiding unnecessary carcinogens and general mess. Time saver too.

    Front suspension

That's a factory axle. Here's a pic for reference. That's your axle (stock) at the top. The middle axle is dropped 3" and the bottom axle is dropped 4". Make more sense now?

    Front suspension

I know what you meant, but it does confuse the definition to a novice. The way I see it, if the axle sits the vehicle at intended factory height, it's not a dropped axle, regardless of it's shape. A factory axle is just that, while a dropped axle has been modified to lower the vehicle. I...

    Front suspension

That's a stock Ford axle. While it has a "dropped" appearance to it, it is not. Here is the difference between stock and dropped -

Double the budget and triple the time is usually a pretty close starting point. :D

    Front suspension

Exactly - Have you priced paint products lately? Talk about sticker shock... But seriously - There are plenty of budget builds out there, you just have to be realistic. Face it - If it was cheap and easy then everyone would be doing it, right? There are a lot of places where you can...

53 AD Chopped, sectioned and narrowed

It works well on a door like this one too. The curve adjusts when you re-seam the door. Ask me how I know. ;) That's an extra bonus. Haha .

53 AD Chopped, sectioned and narrowed

Any reason for cutting through middle of the door skin instead of separating it from the inner structure and trimming off the bottom? Just curious. Makes for a lot less weld area...

    Interesting 34 Pickup

The doors are actually ok for the original Ford style overlapping edge. The hood looks off because it is actually open and not latched. If you have ever worked with one of those one piece hood tops with the sliding side latches, you'll know why - PITA. They look clean and once they are down...

That's different from a sump-type fuel cell. They are specifically designed to be rear-facing.

    Goodguy's

With a $70 entry fee I'm not surprised. That's a big pill to swallow and one of the main reasons I stay away. Pretty hard to justify giving up that kind of cash when the talents of the people paying it are the reason the show exists in the first place...
