    28 Sedan

If you are trying to stay with a push/pull steering setup you could also run a early Falcon/Comet/Mustang box, which mounts underneath the frame rail with the pitman arm facing up. It works well and Speedway sells the bracket. That mounting location could buy you some extra room. If it is...

    Transmission choice....

If you're gonna run that tall of a gear you better get an OD trans or it's gonna hate you on the highway. Tire diameter also factors in, but still. Spend a little extra on the 700 now, or spend a lot of time paying for extra fuel, not to mention wear on the engine.

    Transmission choice....

The cost between the two will be nominal, so not much to consider there. You're leaving out a major factor though - What rear end gear are you using?

Do we really need a parking brake

    New guy from fl

Yes it could be a cool Westergard-style custom, but unless you have some serious heavy fabrication skills (especially with sheetmetal) and a whole bunch of time I wouldn't even think about it. That would be an arduous task for even a seasoned builder, and could easily frustrate a novice to the...

    Need bobber suspension expertise

I was strictly speaking on early Ford style I-beam front axles. I have set up tons of them in different configurations on different vehicles, several of which have made multiple cross country trips and clocked speeds in excess of 140mph. None of them required a steering stabilizer. As I...
