    little local show

I think it is cool that there are so many 4 doors. I remember back in the 70s how no one would fix up 4 doors. Looking back it really excluded a lot of great cars. Thanks for sharing. Jim

    How's your weather????

We had an inch or snow yesterday, then freezing rain, rain, back to snow. Everything froze solid last night. Bringing in the garbage can and hit a patch and landed on my back. A little sore. Tomorrow should be interesting. Be careful all in the cold zones. Seems like most of the country is in...

    Really?!?!

When I was growing up in CT, 10 yo cars used to need inspection to be registered. As cars got more expensive and more 10 yo cars were around they ended it. We have 5 cars and the newest is 10 years old. Cars last so much longer now too. Jim

    Really?!?!

CT has classic plates after 25 years. The 87 Suzuki I have cost $9 in taxes a year and Haggerty insurance with motor club option ~$150 no mileage restrictions. CT seems to be a classic friendly state because there is some crazy stuff at the cars shows with tags on them. Jim

    How's your weather????

In SWCT we have been getting lots of rain. About 1 foot in the past 6 weeks. Been here 38 years and my yard has flooded more in this time period. My Son is a civil eng. Spring project is to do something about drainage. Jim

    Compression Check?

I have never done a compression test without actually cracking the engine and throttle open all plugs out. I have heard of people putting a scrap of paper towel over the hole and when it blows off it is at the top stroke. Jim

    Christmas is over...

I always thought that after our kids were grown, and we have no grandkids' that Christmas would just be a nice mellow time of no stress. I was very wrong. Buying gifts and dealing with crazy people, I agree that it is good being behind us. Jim

    This is NOT a Mustang!

Lots of Teslas in SWCT. NYC influence I think. Jim

    This is NOT a Mustang!

My Wife drives an 02 GT and never fails to say "that is not a Mustang" any time we see the E. I never have understood why car companies reuse names of cars and trucks when building something no where near the original. Maverick is the one that I don't get. It was a car in the 70s but now a...

    Covid

I wonder sometimes if I had not had the vax would I have been OK when I caught it in Sept. For about 3 days I was pretty sick. I didn't want the paxlovid but my Wife, Public Health Nurse, and the doc convince me. Jim

    Covid

My Daughter is at the tail end of it today. Had a low grade fever. We were on Paxlovid and can verify that horrible taste. I still seem to have a little covid fog since September. It may just be I'm old too though. Feel better all. Jim
