penetrol I've just read up on the use of penetrol on the net. Seems like it works for what i want. I'm gonna try it. Anyways, she's got brakes now. Gonna pick up the free powerglide today so I can drop in the motor. She'll be runnin by the end of the week.

I guess when it comes to taste... some have it and some dont ;). They stopped making real "anything" a long time ago (except for Harleys, they're damn better-EVO on up). Regardless, hope your pops enjoys the goat (even with the Chebby motor).

Sorry, not a real Pontiac without a Pontiac motor. It's nice that you are building a car for your pops, but why the radical change to a collectable classic? I guess I just don't understand the modernization when these cars are really good stock.

Yep, used the same stuff on the floors on quite a few of my rats. Works great. I leave it exposed, gives it a cool race car look and cleans easy.

I've done a couple of exhaust sysytems on mid 60s chevy trucks. They are definitely tricky with the rear suspension they have. I always kicked the duels out the side just ahead of the rear wheels. But if your buddy has a good hydraulic pipe bender, then you should be able to get thru and around...

Thanks for the pics. Lots of nice cars but I find myself skipping thru some with questionable taste. I dont understand the huge wheels and some that are just way overdone. I guess I'm just a ratter at heart.;)
