WOW.. That's a really big chop! Are you sure you can sit in it after you take 7" out? I would put the seat in and tape a piece of card board 7" lower than the roof is now, just to make sure. good luck I'll be watching your progress.

Do you really think you need that? the rest of your frame work is GREAT! I think the cross member takes away from the look. JMHO....

IAM-LDS-2 is right if you get a flat tire or one of your front wheels drops into a hole your not going to be happy when your frame hits the ground! This is not safe for you or anyone else on the road! for safety please make some changes to your frame.

Shortened.......it should have come that way from the factory!! looks great. Hang a front fender on and get the whole picture
