Yeah! I actually scheduled my Writtens for this Friday/Monday/Tuesday! I should be certified by late next week. Probably going to start looking for jobs pretty soon! Oh and hey I meant to ask... on those bomber seats, what size(thickness) material did you use? And what was it? 3003, 5052, 6061...

Nice car, too! I'm curious how you got that effect with the lower front fender/door. If I had to guess, was the black sprayed on then sanded down a little? (Disclaimer:I'm not a body man, but it sure does look neat!)

Great looking project, powerplant! It's given me many ideas! I just finished my A & P school a few weeks ago. I'll be doing my Writtens/Orals/Practicals pretty soon, but I don't think/know if I'll be going into the industry. The training was well worth it, though! I enjoyed all of the Aluminum...

Haha Thanks for the warm welcome guys! That BackSeat Betty car is sick! I'll definitely see if I can get some "red tagged" parts and use 'em on my ride! I'm on my way to look at a '50 chevy truck (dually, too!) this week or weekend. I'll be sure to take pictures! Rusty, Chop top, Z-frame...

Edit: Thanks for the welcome, Gastrick! Also wanted to throw in my Dad's 70 El Camino- we're in the process of restoring it. He's not a mechanic (carpenter) so I'm doing the work on it! Great practice for me on bodywork and stuff... Plus It's going to have a sprayed 454 out of a 93 SS in it...
