I like using the 99-04 4.3 V6 starters. I know you know this but, make sure the bolts are actual starter bolts.

Just go to your local farm supply, Lowes, Home Depot etc and buy a metric button head socket cap bolt. I think that's a1/2" long 8mm with a 1.0 thread pitch.
