Check out this Rig Job! WTH!

Seems like a great idea, but a little too involved for me at the moment. Maybe a project for next year though. It is a cool idea!

Yes dimensions and angles would be incredibly helpful! Thanks for the pics though.

Yea, I think it will be way easier to work on and do engine swaps down the road if I engineer it to be easily removable.

I'm trying to decide wether to use slotted angle steel to build a structure to support the radiator and fenders to the firewall erector set style, or use an adjustable cable system to replace the missing threaded support rod that went to the firewall. I really want the front end to be solid, yet...

It sure as hell wouldn't surprise me of it was! All the while as I'm repairing this beast, I have a guy who keeps trying to buy it from me. I could actually make a little money on it, but I think I'm addicted to it. I can't seem to stop buying parts and repairing things. And as I do, my possible...

Got a sweet deal on a full set of fiberglass fenders, so I pulled my front end apart and found the mother of all Rig Jobs! Your eyes are not deceiving you... The radiator support is "loosely" bolted to the power steering pump! There was no fender support tie rod either, which was the first clue...

GPS I figured this was the most economical way to get a speed reading without swapping out all the gauges.

Stained the raw wood in the bed. Also got rid of the crappy fuel cell and replaced with a new cyclinder tank. I think this is temporary though. I want a tank under the bed with a sender and gauge.

The roof is pretty banged up. I'm not sure if I'm going to fix it or leave as part of the trucks charm.

The interior looked very high end as well. There's a leather seat, black carpet, door panels, and a new steering wheel in there now.

Truck as I recieved it. This is what the truck looked like when I got it. This is prior to Scotchbriting with CLR and rubbing out with linseed oil.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. The truck was basically thrown together with duct tape, zip ties, and essentially shear luck. As I recieved it, it was already on the S10 chassis but needed to be completely reworked as the the cab and bed were bolstered with wood 4x4s and such. As I went...

How's it going everyone. New guy in Broward County FL. Anyone from South FL in here? I've been trying to see if there are any groups in my area, but haven't found anyone yet. My ride is a 48 Chevy 3100 on a 92 S10 Chassis. It has a Small Block 350 with a Comp Cam.
