It's on the road! Been almost 5 years of working on my 1950 f1. Just got on the road last week. Got a title 2 weeks ago and insurance. I am all legal beagle now. Just need to put in my front windshield....but that hasn't stopped me from driving it.... I haven't gotten out of my truck all week...

So here's the story... Took my truck down to get weighed on a trailer. When I got home to unload it the truck got stuck. I put some brick I front of the rear tires and told my brother in law to drive forward with the trailer; figured the truck would stay still an the trailer would just pull out...

I made a tamplet , took it to the glass guy. He's gonna cut the glass $125. But then I guess I need to prime and paint the edges before I glue it down... All the newer glass that is glued down has the edges painted so you don't see the glue. Guess it's gonna ba ok.... Oh yea, got a lady coming...

Ok I meen a title. So the question I have is the vin number for a 1948-1950 truck. When you open the glove box door there's a plate with some numbers on that plate, is the engine number that's on the plate the vin number also?

So my build is a 50 f1. I got the rear end from a 93 f-150. Motor and trans came out a 66 dodge motor home. The way the trans back end and the Tay the rear end is ; they both have a plate on the ujoint . So I have a two piece drive shaft with a center barring and a slip yolk in the middle. So...

Got it I just got a haywire harness. Cost 200 . It's a 7 cirket . Everything's labeled. Should be kinda easy...... For who ever I get to do it. I don't want any part of that. I'm already frustrated just looking at the box.

So I used the steering column from someone else's build. I was told it was a 52 dodge truck steering column. But I've lost the top center piece that the steering wheel connects on to. The part that has splines . Anybody know where I can order this from or what I'd say about it. Was told they all...

So I'm at the point in my build where my truck is just about done. I have it rigged up to turn a key and it starts but I know it's not right and I'd like to have it done right so it done. Do I need a whirring harness? I'd it just as much or more expensive to buy it piece by piece? I don't need...
