i'm not saying it MUST have a pcv "valve" but the engine must be VENTED and just an oil fill tube/breather is not enough i believe...;) but i dont claim to be a mechanic - cant even spell mechanic:rolleyes:

i would use the holes in the valve covers... you can put a brass "frost/freeze plug" in the hole on the intake - ive seen it done ;) put a pcv in one and run it to vaccuum, put a vented cap on the opposite side... plug hole 3... i ran a 350 chevy with "script" chevy no hole valve covers...had...

i come from a family that "over-engineers" things... if you are cruising down the hiway, it is comforting to know you did everything possible to make your ride as strong & safe as you could;)

spring break means i get an extra set of hands around the shop... the sporty tank had been a "body shop lesson" for the boy so he went back to it... we had to prime it when we were done...lol;) and then he wanted to paint it before we left today... if nothing else he learned that sanding is...

prism tank is def. a cool piece, but rusted out pretty bad-- i am afraid it would be tough to repair...

torchmann, the first idea is my "perfect plan" i know a guy who has an old yamaha 600 or 650 twin (i dont remember) but it is really in bad shape-carbs gone, ignition gone and motor stuck...:( thought about a harbor freight lawn mower engine and go cart type clutch... but would really rather...

well it found its way to my place...:p after loosing its engine, it wasnt near as heavy[S still kicking around ideas for an engine... would love to find a decent donor bike for cheap:o (not gonna buy a high dollar S&S or HD type engine) anybody have suggestions? lol;)

i did manage to muster enuf time to finish fitting the roof and tacked it in place... hung the door after cutting its top off... fitting doors will be done later.... probably a long time later:rolleyes: b/c of grades:(
