Yay! The transmission turns the rear wheels. That's a good sign!

I had to change the 2 old coolant hoses for the reverse flow cooling. They looked like they were explode when it got warm. Rebuilt the Rochester 2 Jet.

Shortened an old driveshaft I had laying around with the correct size yokes. I'll run it like this and see if it needs balanced.?!

We were going in the right direction! First time running in 25+ years. I like to gamble! 😁 Don't see anything drastic going on! Now I need a driveshaft!

I got all the wiring sorted out. The turn signal light goes on when it's supposed to and the flashers will work with the key off and on. Now I'm waiting for ignition parts.

Fixed the rear light problem! I had the rear light wire and park light wire on the wrong terminals. Just needed to be switched. Still have a problem with the turn signal switch light going on all the time and something in the distributor.

Rear blinkers

For blinker lights I used small led motorcycle turn signals. They are small and easy to hide.

Blinkers work.

I've got headlights, Park lights front and rear. Brake lights work but tail lights don't. I think it's the light switch wiring.

Jumped a battery up to the remote + terminal and ground with battery cables in case I need to disconnect quickly. Nothing happened! No smoke, flames, melted wires, blown fuses! Yeah! Success so far. Tested the rear lights, turn signal lights and brakes lightly they worked. I haven't hooked up...

Finished the turn signal switch. Need to get a wiper and turn signals and electrical is done.

Yeah I had to take a day off from wiring because I feel like a pretzel from working under the dash. At least I made a removable gauge/ switch panel so it was easier to access.

Keeping my fingers crossed and a fire extinguisher close by! 😁
