Sold the Safari! Well the wagon is off to Europe! I'm in the process of selling it to a guy in Austria. So far everything is going smoothly. Waiting for funds to be wire transfered. Then wait for for transportation. 😎👍

Selling the Safari overseas? I was contacted by some guy from Germany that do my Safari on Facebook and wants to buy the wagon. I'm kind of leary sell it to someone in Europe. I just don't know the logistics of selling something other than parts to someone in Europe. Any of you guys or gals...

Today I received parts! Exhaust manifold gaskets and freeze plugs. Top wood kit. Boy this will be fun to make fit! Not sure if the front cowl and doors are from a pickup. Things are just not lining up right. I may have to chop and make adjustments.

My wife and I bead rolled the floor for the bed. Did it in 3 sections to fit in the roller. I think it turned out pretty good.

Got some work done this weekend because I knew I would get much done this week. Went in for toe surgery Monday. Everything went well. Any way I got the trans tunnel done and hooked up hoses, trans cooler lines etc.

Looking good. But you know I like wagons and AMCs!

Got the headlights mounted and did some sheet metal work on the floor.

I was gone last week so no work on the truck. We went to Florida to the Homestead race and a little peacock bass fishing. Went to Little Havana for a culinary tour. The food was awesome.

I finished up the back brakes using good leftover and used parts from other differentials. New wheel cylinders though! Popped the rear cover of to inspect and change fluid. Probably should have check it out before I put it in. But I was told it was good and it was. It was even a 3.42:1 ratio.

I was doing the back brakes. I'm waiting for wheel cylinders. I had to figure out what GM 10 bolt I had first. The way the backing plates bolt on was someone I've never seen before and the wheel cylinders were held on by clips! Figured out it was mid 80s rear. Brakes and stuff was the same as...

Sheet metal work today. Finished the firewall and filled up a bunch of holes. There are a couple bigger ones I didn't fill and might use those for electrical. Also got the passenger side tone.

Mounted the front shock using a modified F1 shock mount and a modified Pontiac Safari shock.

Finished the brake lines using CuNi tubing. I like it, very easy to use.

I ran out of brake line so I mounted the radiator and grille shell. I will need to make some sort of grille for the shell to hide stuff. I will and paint the radiator black. Found 2 hoses in the stash that fit!! I love it when that happens. I had to put the engine and transmission back in to...
