Can solid mount or rubber mounts

Trying to get some input on mounting my cab. Been planning on mounting with neoprene bushings, but I'm not sure it will be solid enough to run cowl steering with a mopar box. Pros cons?

    46 ford steering box help

I'm building a 41 ford, bagged with the axle in front of the frame. Going to be using a mopar box for cowl steering. Pretty simple really. Box was $40. http://www.hoseheadforums.com/forum.cfm?ThreadID=24372

Ya looks real beefy. Its actually fairly light wall square tubing I had sitting around. Working on the front suspension now. Almost had the front Watts done, then to build the cantilevered air bag setup. Also got my new timing cover in for my electric water pump. Ya not real rat roddy but...

    Ford Tranny Help

Had a friend who knew the guy who sold me the first trans. Said he had no idea it had no valve body as he never used it or opened it up. But he did have a spare vb I could have. Picked it up today so now I have 2 c4s. First tranny had what seemed to be a lot of movement in the gear train, didn't...

Cab is 90% welded. GT40 heads have been drilled and are ready for a valve job so I can button up the motor. Exploder rear has been shortened and put back together with new brakes and sealed up. Got a new C4 tranny with 50000km on it. looks pretty good. Also got in touch with the guy who sold me...

Well I broke down and picked up a mig welder. Tried using my tig and it just wasn't working. Doesn't like the old steel at all and I was putting way to much heat into the metal and it really started pulling bad. Going to have to rechop to get it straight again.

    Ford Tranny Help

Picked up the C4. Looks in good condition, other than it was dirty as could be. Engine must have been spewing oil. Probably removed 20lbs of oily crud off the outside. Has a valve body...Yay! Has a torque converter...yay! Has all the cooling lines, flexplate, block plate, yoke, linkage..Yay Yay!

    Choppin 41 Ford pickup

Laying out my chop. Noticed on the front a - pillars that most cut them on an angle rather than running a straight line around the cab. Know there's gotta be a reason that I don't see.

Going for 5 in the back 5 1/2 in the front. Going to mail slot the rear window. I like the look even if I may curse my decision down the road.
