    HEI or Points?

Put it in the engine, connect the 12 volt lead and crank it. No spark = Bad module. Good spark = Good unit. I can think of no excuse to run points! If it is about looks, you can get HEI in a small cap that looks like an old points unit.

Ok I thought I heard it all.

My argument when confronted by someone trying to push this crap on me is "If we stopped eating animals, what would we do with all of the cattle, sheep, pigs and chickens? Would we just turn them loose? There is already not enough farm land on the planet to even begin to feed the human race if...

    Independent Suspension Car Trailer ??

It would take more than 3 sets to make a car trailer. they really aren't meant for much payload and I think it would raise the center of gravity too much. Most trailer supply places should be able to tell you how much capacity you need. torsion axles function independently.

    ?? about cowl steering

Be sure to build your extension pipe in two pieces. One short one with the piece of steering arm, about 3" of pipe and a flange. That way you can put the nut on the steering shaft. Then the longer part that has a flange at one end and the arm at the other poking through the cowl. Also be sure...

what metalwrking tools are must haves

These are all tools I have made with a total investment of about $15 (rear wheel bearing from a 9" for the english wheel). The tool that is made of two rods is a tuck tool. It is used to put a "pleat" in the edge of a sheet that is then hammered flat to form a compound curve. Do a search on...

    BOP TH400 Replacement

I am pretty sure that a chevy case is the same except for the bolt pattern and an adapter can be bought from summit or speedway. If you get desperate, Jeep used this trans in old wagoneers. Advance adapters might be able to help.

something to keep me out of the bar

lowered in front (soon to be bagged) bagged in the rear. No ramps, the bed floor tilts, tailgate drops past level and you ride in. No plans to chop the top (maybe roadster) but big plans for a chopper in the back.
