We have done quite a bit since last posted, lost some pics on a phone update. We have the headlights fully mounted, front shock mounts made, tailights installed and yesterday we built the firewall.

    rear end width

79 f150 9" on mine, I think it measured 60" backing plate to backing plate so would probably be close to dons. I'm running 7.50x16's in the rear

Yea, don't know how I managed that sorry. I guess that's what happens when you have too many tabs open on the ipad.

As for curving the tube, just cut slits into it and bend it, then weld it all back up.that setup looks very similar to tudor deluxe's and here is what he did. [/IMG]

    chopped top s10

I saw that yellow cab on Craigslist not long ago. I see your new ad up there, good luck with the sale. I have a 95 extended cab sonoma in pretty good shape that I'm parting out and it's taking way longer than I thought it would. Everything priced cheap but s10s are a dime a dozen.

1931 Ford Model A Rat Rod Pickup...going, going....

It's back up on eBay, didn't meet reserve last time, now has a starting bid of 35k and buy it now for 46k. Awesome truck but I don't see anyone spending that kind of money for it, just my 2 cents.

    Little different fenderless 53 pickup

I can see the pics, not sure what's up with others.

We thought about the back but then we would have to bead roll two body lines in and I don't have the dies for one so the front worked better.

Ok not trying to hijack but maverckmk here is a pic This is the best pic I have of it in light right now. Still working on the car and all other pics of the body on the chassis are on cloudy days. By the way it is rustoleum oil rubbed bronze which is 9$ a quart. I work in automotive paint...

Please no flat black, either leave it or finish it off or even another satin color. Car looks great and so many cars are flat black. I went with a satin metallic brown and I think it looks great.

Thanks 31chevrod. Ok we have been putting in the time but just haven't posted much lately. Last weekend we made a radiator mount and framework for the grill to attach to. We also had to extend the hood about a half inch because of where we mounted the radiator. Today we mounted the under floor...

new rims for bias ply tires

I'm guessing 16x4 but who knows lol. If they are 4's and you are running chevrolet 4.75 pattern, s10 space saver spare tires work great. Most of the time you can find them in s10 blazers or Jimmy's at the junk yard and they are mint. Here is what they look like on the front of my car. I know you...
