    T-Bird/Mustang2 R&P for my '30

A Mustang II rack is front steer. You can use an Omni rear steer. Old Iron has done it. I've done 3 or 4 using a VW Sirocco and Chevy Geo racks. OI mounts the rack to the frame. I have mounted them to the axles.

    Big Block Bantam

Yes, Old Stuff, Fiats have the "look". Probably from their drag racing heritage. Pulled the pan on the 406 and realized I can't just replace the pistons. The crankshaft, rods and pistons all have been lightened. I doubt I can find a lower compression piston in the same weight range.

1930 Dodge truck, not a Fargo

I'm going to need an engine for the truck. Got several bare blocks. I also have two rotating assemblies; a large journal 327 and a 350. Both are 0.030" overbore and ready to install. So I'm identifying the blocks to see which one will go to the machine shop. The rest will be sold or given away...

Made a transmission crossmember for the 350 Turbo. I'll weld 'er in tomorrow. Unpleasantly hot and humid here lately.

    Thursday at Gruber's

Yes, Earthman, you wouldn't believe everything he got. At Gruber's tonight, and a fine night it was. Flyin' Brian's latest. Chevy II, small block with tunnel ram. He's already ready to sell. Here's a 496 Big Block built by Greg F. who unfortunately passed away during Covid. A mutual friend...

The engine and trans are pulled. A bare block and the 350 trans are mocked up. Let the fab work begin.

    Big Block Bantam

What's my Fiat doing creeping in here? Well, I changed the front wheels from Weld Rodlites to oem Mustang II 5 slots. The Mustang II wheels match up better with the aluminum 5 slots on the back. I bought 4 bolt rotors to replace the 5 bolt units. These wheels are 13" but the tire diameter is...

I talked to Tripper on the phone today. I thanked him for the many years he provided RRR/UDS for us. He could no longer lose money on the site and his son who did the technical support for free had other professional obligations. So he sold the site. Time will tell how much the site changes...

    Kind of a sad day

Darn shame. We have to turn it around even if it costs more.
