    One of my very close friends lost a leg from the knee down. He is back living an almost a totally normal life. Works full time as a building maintenance professional. Builds hot rods. But he didn't reroof his house this past summer. Keep your chin up and make the most of what life throws at you.

    Unless the frame rail is directly below the down tube. I believe NHRA allows an incomplete weld around the top with specified additional bracing.

    Still putting it back together. Today the headers. I tripped across some Lexan in the attic of the garage. Scrounged enough to make all the windows. Which I did. The windshield was done a while ago.

    Crate, in the summer about 25-30 guys and up to 20 cars. In the winter 10-12 guys and zero cars. OFR, I'm on the case.

    OFR, the pic above is Barbara Roufs. Famous hot rod girl. Probably the last warm night of the year foe us northerners. Some new cars showed up The Willys coupe has a 392 Hemi with a 671 huffer and real mag wheels.. The Willys sedan belongs to his son.

    My sister has a winter mobile home in Venice. Suffered some exterior damage. Their tin shed is no longer on the property. Don's Rods (who used to be very active here) has a son in Bonita Springs. The apartment building where he lives/works has 4 feet of water in the basement parking garage.
