This past weekend was our free racing event at Brainerd. Jerry hooked his Colorado up to my trailer and we started the 150 mile trek up north. Stopped for breakfast. Here's driver Dave posing. Had warm but nice weather. We made 7 passes, all in the 10.80's to 10.90's. A tenth off pace but okay...

That's impressive. I think I caught that Bruno Massel was driving. He's an announcer at NHRA drags. I believe he won his eliminator bracket at the big NHRA meet in Brainerd last week. We ran there this past weekend.

Yes folks, I went to another car show and stayed a few hours. Met some nice folks that were too courteous to walk away when I started to ramble on. The Nova Convert won Best of show. Some other pics too.

Every morning we go to the local Kwik Trip where I get a Big Gulp. This '57 Thunder Chicken was gassing up today. Right across the road was a Corvette show. All that pretty plastic getting rained on. Anyway, the T-Bird looked original or maybe an older restoration. Very cool.
