okay... i think i`m gonna look for such lowering blocks for the back and maybe those clamps that squeeze the spring coils together in the front. anybody knows a shop where i can buy such things? i don`t even know one :confused: (i thought i`m pretty good informed about old american cars, but i...

once i cut the coil springs of my mercedes s-class and was always afraid of beeing stopped by the police... but i have to say, the car was very low (cut just the front coils) i think my olds could be the only one in germany so maybe nobody will nootice if its a little bit lower than original...

but if i cut the coils and anyone finds out (cops for example) i`m in really big trouble and have to pay a lot penalty (thats germany) where can i get such blocks? are there different hights i can choose? where do i have to install them? i just want it to go a little bit lower, not very much.

i got an owners manual, but its in the car and the car is just on its way to germany (i hope)... but in the owners manual is everything described what the car has or what it not has, i think. and i want to know with which extras it was ordered in 1952.
