    120 octane: Yes you can drop the frame rails down to lower the car. The cross member should be level with the ground. the top hats for the springs will be tipped to the rear, when looking from the side. Put the level on the cross member, not the top hat. Ifyou want to check the ride height...

    this is a heidts super ride in a 29 studebaker with a square tube frame, the front end from heidts is actually for a 32 ford, the lowest front end they make.

    use a shrinking disk, they work like magic. Go on e-bay and click on "shrinking disk", I think there is a u-tube link on e-bay.
