I haven't had much time to keep up with this thread. I have kept at the build. I've been working on the dash and instrument cluster. Which has led into wiring the car. They weren't kidding when they say it takes time to wire a car! It has been one of the hardest things I've done on a car ever...

Yeah, it's a remote waterneck/thermostat housing. The manifold doesn't have provision for a thermostat. The manifold is a conversion from a mechanical fuel injection to efi. The racing manifolds didn't have the thermostat provision.

I also got the body work done and started some painting. Hung the doors and fabricated the deck lid. Put as much sound proofing as possible without messing up the vibe. Still have some painting to do on the roof and cowl. Then on to wiring.

Got some more work done. Was a very nice weekend and I could move some things out of the garage. I was able to get the body on. So of course I had to set everything in it to see what it was going to look like.

Finally got a friend to make up a rear body panel and installed it. This completes the trunk area of the car. The look of the body has really taken shape.

Well, I have finally found some time to work on the car. I got the quarters set and shaped. The trunk floor and wheel wells are mostly in. You can see the shape of the body in the last picture.

To finish off the back end, I have tubs for the wheel wells and then would need to fabricate a back panel to tie them in. It will stay cut up high as it is for a modified look.

I was going to raise the engine up, but could only get about 1-1/2" more clearance. I am going to change the oil pan back to a stock pan, which would give me another 1" of clearance. I could raise the suspension a little more too and get another inch or so. I am still more concerned about...
