The vin on s10 frame is on the top of the passenger side frame, near the front. I have heard about people stamping the numbers on the frame, but don't tell anybody I said that...;)

Just sprayed my A bucket with Rustoleum . I used High Heat satin black and thinned it with acetone. It won't run while you spray it on, it looks dark brown while it cures but turns black in a week. It's very tough after it cures. Did I mention it WON'T run!!!:)

Because of the long spring and the angle of the shackles used on the 41 -48 fords a panhard bar is valuable to reduce side movement.

I doubt the harley shocks are making it ride ruff or helping to rid death wobble. Death wobble is best reduced by setting toe in correct and having enough negative caster. I would remove the front spring, clean all the rust off and put tephlon strips between the leaves, remove every other leaf...

The old banjo will not be a good choice either. Not strong and hard to find parts.

Thanks for the replys. My local tool supplier, which is just a small town hardware store and usually has anything I need. They said no such a thing as 2 1/16. But next time I get near home depot, 25 mile trip, I will check it out. It really didn't take too long to file the holes alittle bigger...

Why are most aftermarket gauges 2 1/16 inches in diameter but nobody makes a hole saw 2 1/16" ..can find 2 or 2 1/8...so I gotta get out the ol half round file and exercise my arms...[S

Built the exhaust on my A Bucket. Made a step/heat shield so I won't my little leg gettin out.
