That frame is over 80 years old. Therefore I would not use it , But. Inspect for cracks or other damage, if you think it's in great shape then box it.

If it aint broke, don't fix it!! If the brakes work good what is the problem? Usually a hard pedal is a bad booster, if you don't have a booster now, maybe we need more info?[S

Here's a website with lots of info. I built a 500 for one of my projects and won't do it again, they don't respond well to mods. So if you use the motor for your project I recommend keeping it mostly stock. http://www.cadillacpower.com/forum/

Upon reading the instructions [haha] it seems Edelbrock makes an adapter for the TV cable. [part #8026] So I got one and installed it and the geometry looks better. I had to move my homemade TV cable mount but I think I can now make adjustments that will work. Thanks for your input, guys .

There is alot of info on the internet about the geometry between the throttle shaft and the position of the mount pin for the 700r4 TV cable. The 9906 Edelbrock has a mount hole on the bottom of the carb bracket that is 1 3/32 center to center and that is correct for mounting the TV cable. The...

I guess I know how a starter is supposed to work but ...I installed a mini starter and cranked the motor, did not start the motor just testing the starter. The gear on the starter didn't retract. I thought something is wrong. I put a stock starter on and get the same thing. Is this normal, does...

Donk isn't my style but I give them credit. They are working on old cars, there are some awsome paint jobs and they drive the heck out of them. More power to em.:)
