Engine Install I installed the engine today and did some more work on the brake lines as well. slow going right now because of a knee problem that I'm having. Going to finish up the brake lines tomorrow and maybe start the exhaust system. Also started the wiring...using these sealed...

Rollin' (again) Frame is back on the suspension. Got a few more brake lines to run then I'll drop the motor and trans in. Also started working on finishing the bed. More to follow. -Troy

Thanks for the input guys. I talked to Speedway Motors street rod tech and when I asked the question he didn't hesitate to say that I can just use one port and a splitter for the front brakes and plug the other hole on the proportioning valve. Now all I need to do is find a plug! Anyone now...

One was on the top and one was on the bottom....there was only one port for the rear. I saw a similar one Summit's site and attached the PDF that was on their site. I suppose you can do it that way...maybe someone else has some input. -Troy

So the brake booster/master cyl kit that I bought came with it's own proportioning valve. I didn't notice until today, but there are two out ports for the front brakes (disc/drum setup). Anyone know if I have to "use" both ports or can I just use the one for both front disc with a t-splitter...

Thanks Ty! And congrats on your sell. I've been working on finishing up the frame. Put some fish plates on and some other finishing welding and painting it. I'm very happy with the finish. I used a roller to apply it. Drys very nice and I can tell the paint is quality from the feel of it...

I'm with DMW56...love how these guys wear helmets...I guess it's to contain some pieces that can be ID'd. :eek:
