header flanges and cutouts Got the flanges and block outs from Ron Pope at EZtbucket.com. There is a kit that you can buy from summit, but it only comes with one flange and one block out per side and I needed an extra flange for the turn out. Speedway sells the gaskets so I got them and...

Got the hinges and struts done for the tonneau cover. The struts are a lot stronger than I was planning for. Basically that thing is like a catapult! The extra weight of the wood won't make much difference. Not really worried about it unless I don't pay attention and get knocked out from it...

My old drag car was a big block Pontiac that I drove to the track. I had a two barrel adapter plate and carb that I use to put on just for the ride there then I would switch it out to the holley 700. I would get about 20mpg with the 2 barrel...I could just never get on it for fear of sucking...
