    Survey says...?

Not a good plan at all. That tubing is nowhere near strong enough to support the weight of the vehicle. Must increase the tubing size and wall thickness. Must increase the thickness of the brackets that are currently welded to the 1" tube and the shocks are bolted to. If you look close in...

    hydrualic throw out bearing nightmare

Good luck. You will need to take the tranny out. Personally if it was me I would throw that hydraulic throwout bearing away and add mechanical linkage. I have a 95 F250 that I have changed that thing so many times in I could scream. They are an absolute pain and will go out on you every...

1930 model a pickup rat build

IMHO your build would look better with a traditional steering set up. You can always move the box so you won't need to flip the pitman over. However, if you are dead set on going with the cross steer you can purchase wishbones with a cut out for the steering. You could also modify your to...

    28 Reo RatRod Pickup

Looks like a cool project. Grind that rust off about and inch back before you go to welding, it will make your life easier in the long run.

    38 GMC Part 2

And since she is sporting a new set of shoes I thought I would cover that big hole in the cab where the steering goes through. As soon as I can figure out how to get the pics to my computer I will post up how I made the part. It basically went like this. 1. measure the width and length of...

Our yard is right by a drainage ditch, we have seen up to a 7 foot gator in that thing. We are pretty careful but you never know what might be laying up inside a bundle of aluminum extrusions.

Sorry for the O/T but this is one HUGE Tx Rattler!!!

At my lovely shop we are constructing a new lay down yard for all our parts and pieces, about 100k square feet worth. My yard manager, while driving around on the new JCB telehandler, tells me he has seen no less than 3 water moccasins. They were small compared to that big old rattler but just...
