    Welders

I was a red fan for years. I still like some of their products, mostly TIG machines. Many moons ago I bought a Miller and had such good luck with it I am now a blue fan. I feel that Miller makes the best MIG welders in the world. My suggestion is the Millermatic 211. It is a small machine...

    Help with price?

Based on recent swap meet prices for bits and pieces Cowl is worth around $200 or so Back is probably worth the same. Might be able to give a better price if the pics were bigger. Edit, back is worth about $100 if your lucky. Reviewed the tiny pics again.

    Who's chopped a 36-37-38 chevy trk

2" will be easy. I took 3.5 out of mine, lined up the back and moved the front post. Here's a pic or two. What I would do differently...... See the cut in the roof above the window? I would only make this cut and would not pie cut the post on the roof half, you can sorta see that cut also...

    Who has the filthiest shop?

After years in the manufcaturing industry I have learned to keep a clean shop. Having a place for everything and keeping it in it's place makes me more effecient, no need to search for this or that, I know right where it is and always put it back. That is not to say that while I am working I...

Im sure you might have seen this but, opinions?

Here on Rat Rods Rule we like everything, I think. I like the thing, even the wheels. I personally would not use those wheels or tires but they do give it an interesting feel. The fab work is excellent and the air bag set up is well done. At the end of the day the builder did something...

    Beware China made rubber hoses!

Dumbest export import story ever I used to work at a large mining equipment manufacturer. They had a certain part cast in China, 80 ton pour. They then transported it to Seattle for machining. It was then transported to India for assembly. Then it went to Mexico to be put onto the vehicle...

I grew up on a farm in Idaho. I remember my grandfather coming in from the field and sitting down on the couch. By the time his butt contacted the cushion there was a cold drink next to him. When it ran out he would rattle the ice in the glass and my grandmother would jump up like she was...

    Jesse James

No jealousy at all. I was trying to pay the people on this forum and in garages everywhere who have built awesome cars and bikes with little more than a $200 craftsman tool set a compliment.
