    37 IHC Build

Floor pans I got the floor pans mocked up today. I still need to finish the drive shaft loop...not sure if I should round that or square it to keep with the lines from the trans tunnel. What do you guys think? Also the e-brake cables attached to the handle. Going to start building the bed...

    Belly Tanker?

John, Thanks a ton for all of the information! [cl[cl[cl[cl I'll look him up tonight. Even though I'm many months out from even starting something like this (if at all) I really like to know what I'm getting myself into. I'm heading to Bonneville in August to get a better feel for it as well...

    Hot Rod how to?

I'm with Snake on this one. If you are the one that feels like it needs to be "saved" for something else then sell it and buy something that you can make the way you want it. The last thing that I would want is to open my garage everyday with a sigh. Just my $.02 -Troy

opinions on more 32 fords on the road than were built by henry

I could really careless about some guy who bought a glass 32 body and made it look like every other 32 out there...SBC, Chrome that hurts my eyes and a bright yellow or red paint job. Look I've been to thousands of car shows, swap meets, drag events and so on. When I roll into these events I...

    Belly Tanker?

I found a couple of places that sell glass bodies for the P-38 tankers. I would like to build one from aluminum, but I'm not sure how long it would take as my metal forming skills really are not up to snuff...might make a good way to learn more. might try to build a scaled down version using...

  15. RAT IHC

Dang it... Too many options. SBC, LS2, or 4.3 Turbo?

go with something different...if you are stuck on sbc than do something old school like a 283 or 327 stroker or with an old style supercharger.

    Belly Tanker?

Thanks Cornfield! Did you skin the whole thing from scratch or did you use an actual belly tanker? I've worked on 9.90 and 8.90 doorslammers a while back so use to different rules and safety requirements and after reading through the SCTA rule book I can see where the challenges would be. The...

    Belly Tanker?

Anyone ever build a belly tanker and actually race it? I've got a wild hair and I'm going to build something to race some day and I really dig the belly tanker design. I'm planning on a driving out to Bonneville in August 2012 to watch and get some more info. I've done a little looking around...
