    84 Ranger

That's cool. I used to have an '89 longbox 2WD... Always wanted to swap the anemic 2.9 for a 5.0.[ddd I believe minitrucks are today's answer to the V-8 Vegas and Pintos of yesteryear...;) Too bad many places have all these restrictive smog laws to deal with. Here in So Ont, we have smog police...

    48 DODGE Pilot House Rat

All good ideas as to your body mods. I think I'd try the "dehumping" operation on the doors first. That way, if the cab still looks too wide, then you can narrow and chop at the same time-why do the job twice?:D Like the idea of cutting down the windshield opening... they look kinda...

    last night 27 chevy

Dude, is that a spoon on top of your front spring perch?:D Truck looks great, glad you're enjoying it! I think yours is what this segment of the hobby is all about-building something fun from next to nothing-and driving the wheels off of it! Regards, Shea:)

    Bought my first cab today!

Strip the paint where it is, you shouldn't have to strip where the "patina" is... Why not go with traditional suspension front and rear? Smaller kickup necessary out back, less space needed for air tank, compressor and switches. I know it's a small cab, but it's not a mini truck.;) They...

    Bought my first cab today!

Dude, that's a beautiful cab you got there. Like the others have said, money spent on good metal to start with is money well spent.:) The little truck in my avitar is a great example... I paid $800 for it off a used car lot 6 years ago and promptly removed and scrapped almost everything...

'36 Chevy Sedan "The PackRat Rod"

Car's coming along nicely![;) Little stuff like the window opening and channel mods you've just detailed are what elevate this beyond the level of a "rat rod" in my honest opinion. This has become a home-built car done within traditional guidelines to a high level of quality.[cl[P I can...

Why Did You Choose To Run/Drive/Build A Ford/Chevy/Dodge Etc...........

I don't even have a "Rat Rod," so I don't know that my opinion counts, but whatever.[S I've owned a little bit of everything, but most of the "Domestics" I've owned have been Chevrolet or General Motors. Currently, our fleet consists of one Chevrolet (in pieces, all over the garage) and two...
