There is no way (that i know of) to stop the cancer but leave the surface rust. If you put a coat over the surface rust, well its still on the top layer of metal and eating through.

Alluminum is pretty soft. Id like to see it do that to some cast iron blocks and heads. I have a feeling the cast iron might just win, or at least break some teeth off of the shredder.

Yeah, had to take it off and make it longer. I guess thats what happens when you go from stock height to 3 feet off the ground. Drive shafts dont stretch that far. :D
