Shallow Radio, DVD, Back-up view screen

You might have a problem finding a really shallow unit, especially wanting the touchscreen, DVD, GPS, etc. You could most definately get something from secret audio, which would have a tiny remote operating controller and you hide the main unit under the seat or in the trunk. You could try...

    Project A.D.D 25 Chevy

This is one sweet looking little car! Can't believe what you started with! I have one question, though, and this is not the first car I've seen it on-WHAT IS UP with those huge tall rear coils and the ginormous rear kickup on the chassis?![S Doesn't seem like you'd need 12-14" of...

My 74 Vega... No rat project for me yet...

Yep, a V-6 would work pretty darn good in one of these little fellas, too. Nice thing is, '74-'77's once you cut out the factory 4 cylinder mounting plates, the factory Monza mounts for any of the bigger motors will bolt in. I used those in my old car. Only other thing was to shove the stock...

My 74 Vega... No rat project for me yet...

Yep. I'd love another one, too. This time around, a 305 TBI, 700 r4, S10 spindles, axles and brakes for 5 lug, and subframe connectors.:) Dare to dream.:) BTW, the wagon version was called "Kammback.":D Used to be a bit of a "Vega Scholar" when I was a kid. What a geek I was!:D Still have the...

"ya can't help some people" or ''l just don't understand the younger generation''

I'm 41 and would be quite happy if someone slipped a Chevy Advance Design pickup my way...:( It's nice to see your generousity. Too bad it wasn't appreciated.:( Regards, Shea:)

My 74 Vega... No rat project for me yet...

Once I got mine put together, I drove it about three times, then sold it... Those little P185 70 R 13's just weren't wide enough to handle 250-275 HP...:D Punching the throttle and kicking it down into passing gear @ low speeds resulted in one sideways little car. Ahh, the good ol' days.:D...

    sloppy jaloppy

I'm definitely interested to see your progress as it comes along. Interesting machine. I've often thought of the "VW as a cab" plan, simply 'cause bugs seem to still be out there and somewhat cheap.:D Keep us posted, we love pics. [P Regards, Shea:)

    What Rotor will work ??

You're going to have to do some cross-referencing with regards to inner and outer bearing sleeve and race measurements, as well as overall rotor diameter, thickness and center hub (where the studs go) height. It would have to be a mix and match of different manufacturer's pieces to make this...

My 74 Vega... No rat project for me yet...

Vega's ROCK! My first car was a '77 hatch, which got a 327 transplant after a few months of "quart-a-day" oil consumption.;) LOTS of stuff you can do with these-the internet is a blessing for lovers of obscure automobiles. A site I would suggest: www.h-body.org Keep us posted. I'd love...

almost lost my cars to city codes

I wonder if, perhaps, you might just have an issue with the timing chain tensioners in the F-150? It's been awhile since I worked @ the dealer, but I seem to recall, well, a recall on those... Tensioners would lose tension, chains got floppy, BINGO, NOISY!!! :( Not 100% sure on that, BTW...

Thinking about a change in direction....

Probably just be easier to run the entire package intact, straight out of the Ranger. Sorry, not sure about specifics on the Passive Anti Theft System, I was a "general grunt" and didn't get much into electrical back when I worked @ the dealership. Is this a SOHC 4.0? I remember they had a...

Clean one owner, is it worth the asking price? lol

Poor condition?[S No offence, but come to Ontario. Seriously. $35k.... Maybe a bit high... Certainly not what I'd call a rotten pice of junk though. Should probably be restored, considering completeness and condition. Regards, Shea:)
