    top chop

If you are not "ready" to chop it, figure out something else to invest your time and money into. Frame, Suspension, Breaks, Get it running, etc... All those things are more important than chopping it right at this moment. Seen many a chopped cabs sitting after the "haircut" when interest wanes.

1936 chevy low cab build 1.5T

From what I can tell it is in the annoying "why the heck is it not working the way it should" stage right before it is ready to drive. The hard work is all done. This too shall pass. Keep after it till you are "finished". [P

    flux core on sheet metal?

I went through a spool of flux core before adding a bottle of gas, there is a world of difference. Beyond better visibility of the weld and a prettier end result, the fumes from flux core are just plain bad for you. If you only have flux core, practice practice practice--but don't inhale.

    My mad house

The cowl is yours, not mine. You can do with it what you want. I know you will have the space looking good in no time. If I lived closer (and had more free time) I would volunteer to help with the roofing/rehab. Enjoy!

    My mad house

very nice Hopefully the garage came with a house nearby (or you already live pretty close). My main regret in our new place is the lack of a separate out building... maybe next time.

1930 model A Tudor Sedan Rat

When they are talking about IFS (independent front suspension) this page has an example that looks pretty decent on an open fender car. Look at the 6th and 8th photo in the second post--a black car with a green grill shell. http://ratrodsrule.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24593

Fore! Golf cart to mini rod #2

In the end, you are doing all the work... and you should decide*. She will probably change her mind again. Your creation will look good what ever color you decide on. Personally I think off-white and black are both better choices than gold. * Full disclosure, this idea of "he who does the...
