    36 Ford Bobber Build

Man, it's been awhile since I posted. I have been slow on progress but I have been working on stuff. I've mostly been collecting parts. I have also been trying to sort out a motor for the truck and have had to deal with some real *******s. I ended up OK on the deal in the end but I had to...

    1931 Chevy 4door into pickup.

Not sure what you used for wiring but most kits have a 3rd brake light wire which basically is just an on/off with no blinkers integrated. You could use that to power the lights in the tailgate and just have them setup as a 3rd brake light rather than as the only brake light.

Tyster, thanks! Make sure to look through all of it and don't just follow a step at a time since I made a few mistakes along the way that you can learn from and avoid from the start:D PM me if you have specific questions. I'd be happy to help where I can. Man, it's been awhile since I posted...

I saw that you said that you didn't have enough grill bars to finish the lower part of your grill. I found these replacement bars and figured I'd pass on the link just in case you're interested in them...

    Willys Wagon Help

If I recall correctly the wagoneer frames fit pretty well under the Willys wagon bodies too. Looks like the parts wagon you got may have your frame though.

    37 Pannel

Bummer about the grill. It's nice that you found a 36 grill. I like that grill better than the 37 grill.

    Vintage Stewart Warner Gauges

I'm looking for a 2 5/8" crescent needle Stewart Warner temp gauge. I don't need one that is in great cosmetic shape as I have a heavily patina'ed oil pressure gauge that I want to use with it. It does need to be a working gauge though. I would also be interested in a set of temp and oil...

Those grill mounts look great! I really dig the idea of flipping the grill forward to access the radiator too. [cl

    Odd old Ford box truck

I was looking for something for my 36 when I found the ebay add for that truck! It's a 36 railway delivery truck it turns out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1936-Ford-Railway-Express-Van-Pickup-Truck-Flathead-V8-Hot-Rat-Street-Rod-1935-/122145263852?hash=item1c706cd0ec:g:a~QAAOSw4shX4ojN&vxp=mtr

    Odd old Ford box truck

I just saw this old Ford box truck for sale in a lot near where I work. By the grill, it looks like it's a 35-37 but I can't seem to find one like it online. Anyway, I thought it's kinda cool. Might make a cool camper or something. Sorry for the low quality pics. There are no trespassing...

Looking for a 35-36 Ford Pickup Glove Box Door

Hey guys, I'm looking for a 35-36 Ford pickup glove box door to make a gauge cluster out of. I would prefer a original Ford off-white one if I can find one. Let me know if you have something that might work and what you want for it. Thanks

Any tips for getting wheel bearing races out?

Thanks for the tips guys! I tried the full weld bead first and they didn't fall out and where still in the good enough that I couldn't get them out with the lip that was showing so I welded some blobs to catch. That worked like a charm!

    36 Ford Bobber Build

Well, not too much to post right now but I did get my front brakes put together and the hubs and spindles are all cleaned up and waiting for bearings, races, and seals so that they can go back together. Other than that, the search for parts continues!

Looking good. Looks like a lot of work to section that grill and get all the bars reconnected. I have been told that you need to have a pretty light hand with the welder when welding them because the metal is deceptively thin. If you come up with any special tricks or tips, post em up!
