    36 Ford Bobber Build

Thanks Nick. I'll take a look. I pulled out all the bracing last night and climbed in to finish up the rear window opening. I took a couple of shots of the inside and had to do a mock up. Engine sounds may have been made:D:cool:

    36 Ford Bobber Build

Thanks guys! Hopefully here before too long I'll get a chance to roll it outside and take a few better pics of the whole thing. On a different note, I need to order my frontend pretty soon. I'm going with a Speedway drop tube axle and bones I think. I have a question though. I'm most...

    36 Ford Bobber Build

I got the back ground out last night. I'll take the bracing out tonight so I can get inside to finish up the inside of the rear window opening and then start beating on the roof to get it back into shape...I hope!

    1931 Chevy 4door into pickup.

It is a hard decision on a hood! The really good ones are pretty darn spendy! I hadn't been doing enough welding to get a higher end hood so I ended up getting a SavePhace one. It's sort of a lower mid range price but, overall, I've been pretty happy with it. It's already last way longer than...

Thanks! I had an idea of how much work it would be but my estimate was definitely pretty low! I'm getting close now though:)

    1952 F-6 Build

Really nice work! The attention to detail is really impressive[cl Personally, I would lower it even more, but that's just me. It's got that lead sled style to it that just makes me want to see it layed out.

Your bed looks great! Love the barnwood floor. I have a stash from the sides of my 36 that was a beat truck :D

Last night I got the driver's side door leading edge done. Now I need to work the A pillar on the driver's side. I'm getting there slow but sure:cool:

    51 Willys Build

It's all padded with cork and there was a bottle there for the last couple of years that did fine. Just changed it out to clear so I think I should be OK.:)

Looks like that will do the trick! If you care about the bit of wedge gap between the A-pillar and the door at the top, use a piece of 1/8 steel rod as filler. Welding rod will work fine. Cut it roughly to length, tack it and shape it as needed then fill weld and grind. Works great to...

    1931 Chevy 4door into pickup.

I think the grinder marks around some of the holes from deburring are throwing it off for me. I keep trying to make myself see the hole pattern as evenly spaced, with the change in spacing to the bottom, but those marks are messing with me. Maybe grind the whole surface or something? Are you...

    51 Willys Build

I decided to change out my overflow bottle to a clear one so that I can see the level of the coolant in it.

    36 Ford Bobber Build

I finally got the drivers side windshield opening finished up. I also got a bunch more grinding done. I still have a ways to go but I can at least see the finish line on the chop now. Man, I'm ready to be done with this part and move on to frame and drivetrain stuff!

    1929 Essex/Truck

I missed that you have to put a front bumper on. That sucks! Is it something you can take off after inspection or will the cops hastle you about it too?
