    36 Ford Bobber Build

It certainly is a lot of work and this particular cab has added complexities to it. I'm also only working an hour a night so it's taking longer than it would if I had bigger blocks of time to work with. The other thing that slows me down is that I'm teaching myself all of this stuff as I go so...

    1929 Essex/Truck

Cool. How do you intend to keep the air separated side to side. From everything that I have read, you really aren't supposed to have a path for air to move from the bags on one side to the bags on the other as you can get dangerous levels of body roll as you go around a corner since the...

Using the pistol grip inflaters for your valves is killer!!![cl[cl[cl I am wondering though how you intend to deal with deflating and also why you only have 2 valves instead of 4. You are bagged all the way around right?

    36 Ford Bobber Build

It's been awhile since I last posted but I have been working. I got the drip rails and door sill tops filled and tacked sot hat the roof is solidly mounted. Then, I ended up re-cutting my doortops to reshape them. I had set them up so that the skins on the inside of the cab and the top of the...

The old school prisms work pretty well for seeing stop lights. If you get one, don't get the cheep little ones that stick on the windshield with a suction cup though. Get a Guide. They're way way better.

    1931 Chevy 4door into pickup.

Not sure if they can do a matte or satin finish in powder coating but something like that might look good. Not to shiny but nice a clean to contrast with the rest... Just a thought.

Sometimes, you just gotta have a day or two of doing that! It's still progress, just not photogenic LOL

I'm hoping that I'll actually get my chop done one of these days so that I can move on to fun stuff like frame and running gear! It really does feel like it takes forever sometimes but you gotta just keep on it! Looking really good so far[cl That Canada Customs truck is one that I look at...

MAIDEN Build. 46' IH Rat Truck

I agree with not chopping the long bed. A visor should look cool on it and give it that attitude. I love Felton's on old trucks like this[cl

    51 Willys Build

Glad you like the stuff I've put in my build, it's been a lot of fun using that kind of stuff! Sounds like if you wait a bit you can enjoy having the idea again:D

    36 Ford Bobber Build

Thanks guys! I do need to re-cut the door tops in one spot (just a relief cut this time) in order to tweak them a bit to fit better. I'm not too worried about that though since the hard part is fitting the filler sections in and I won't need to redo that. I keep looking at my Willys and...

    1945 dodge pickup

There are usually tons of little details that can be taken care of. Clean up the window openings so they are ready for new glass, clean up the inside of the cab, mount bits and pieces that you have, if you know where they need to go, etc. Is that a new tailgate that you made in the pics or is...

    36 Ford Bobber Build

I started on the a-pillars last night. So far so good I think. I'll have a fair bit of blending to do once everything is tacked in nice and solid but that shouldn't be too bad.

Another vote for widening the fenders. Also looks like some lowering blocks would help get that tire up in the fender better. The bed looks like it's where it should be but it looks like the whole thing needs to be lower.

    1945 dodge pickup

Man, you're cruizin on this build! [cl When you say shorten the height of the bed, do you mean that you are going to channel it over the frame to drop it down or are you thinking of actually cutting the bedsides down? I personally wouldn't cut the bed sides down as I feel like the proportions...
