well my friends with trucks have all backed out so im gonna have to wait another week to pull the engine, i've decided the oder of the engine for my choice 1- 460 4 valve 2- 460 FI 3- Caddy 500 4- 390 FE I'm gonna go down the list if one was pulled or had parts scavenged then i'll go the next one

How rare are the old 4 valve heads

alright so i plan on pulling an engine next weekend to put in my lincoln, all of these need to be rebuilt and are in the same shape for $188. And please comment on some of these with an opinion on any of the engines if you have one.

I guess i'll just go for the c6 or manny tranny, o well, looks like i'll just need some nice gears in the rear end to make up the differance. I'd like to be able to drive my lincoln around, and actually not be afraid of highways......

what tranny do you guys use behind us FE's? i wanna use a A4OD, but dont know what bellhousing will be required for the 390 block?

whats the v12 from? jag lincoln other?.....

Lost out..... someone bought the whole car earlier that morning.....

found a 429 4v out of a 71 t-bird sitting at a local junkyard for $188, going back tommorrow with some friends to yank it. that will make for a fun engine to put in the lincoln.

if you have to wait a minute after starting it to let the smoke settle.....

they really didnt make many, so another rare car for me yay.......

yeah, but in my case it would only be a few panels, pretty much a panel for each seat, and metal all around it for support
