    big block v6

$188 plus tax, I need to go back and figure out what engine it is still, iy looks like a messed up 350 because the heads aren't mirrored like on most engines, they're staggered

    big block v6

Finally found a big block v6 in a 68 gmc 3500, thinking bout yanking it just to have for a future project, I mean when I can build it from stock 305 cubic inches to a massive stock 478 cubic imches it sounds like a fun engine for something. What do you guys think, ever had one or heard of them?

    anybody extend their car

If I go for it ill definately post pics of progress, cost for the engines will be less than 2000 almost regardless of which engine ill end up using and will make 600-1200hp depending on boost and creativity.

    anybody extend their car

Still working out all the plans before I buy the moter, I don't wanna spend the money on the motors and not use them. My phone won't let me upload pics so just try to google vh45 to see the motor.

The model a is my grandfathers project to restore, the lincoln is my project. The motors dimensions are 73 in long and 30 in wide, its a modified v16. I think ill only need to extend the front end about a foot or so, the engine setup will hopefully put down 600 hp and 600 tq n/a, and hopefully...

    anybody extend their car

I'm tryinh to think of how I'm going to fit my new engine, and I'm thinking about extending my front end some, but I don't wanna have to do it if ill need to lose my hood or fenders, I'm going to try to just modify them to look right. So has anyone else extended the car, whether the front end...

    How could I do this???

I looked into the idea of a diesel a little while ago, and found out that a 4bt cummins diesel is aboust the same size as a chevy 350 and you can find them relatively easy in 90s chevy stepvans, like a fritolay delivery truck. They make decent power and are starting tp pop up more and more in...

    multiple engine set ups

After looking around for a while I think I found an engine set I wanna try, 4.5 l infiniti v8s puuting down a combined 600 hp, then looking into applying 8-15 psi of boost to shoot for round 1000 hp. But the 600 will cause enough fun problems for now, I still need to think about how I'm gonna...

How a freak accident ate a piston on my new motor!

nexttime you could also try to safety wire the bolts together, we do that to all the bolts on our aircraft in a high danger/vibration area.

    Old car daily drivers?????????

you were talking about the chip problems, my friend ran into that one in his 01 firebird, a wire snapped off on his ignition and it no longer was registering his "security chip" so even with the key in the ignition the car would not start, the dealership told him something like $800 to fix it...

    Old car daily drivers?????????

personally i mark the decline of all vehicles at 96 when obd2 was introduced and trucks were required to do crash tests, so i only buy 95 and older, but the newest i've owned was a 93 subaru legacy, or a 93 jeep cherokee, which were both very good reliable vehicles.

Of NASCAR and NHRA....and my daughter :)

I wish they's take nascar back to its roots, just a few good ol boy, moonshine runners trying to show off whos "stoock" looking car was the best. how are these cars anywhere near looking stock or even street legal. At least back in the 70's you could still drive your stock car to the track and...

    POLL

I like lowered slightly but noot laying frame, i like it when the wheels actually fit the wheel well opeinings not retracting in at weird and horrible ca,ber, and not 6" of clearance around the normal tire ( unless vehicle is a 4x4). I like the moderately done ones
