14.72 volts with everything turned on. Starts easier and seems to run stronger

Got her wired up and i got lotsa juice. My volt gauge reads low but i knew the alternator wasnt up to snuff because of dim lights and slow heater fan

Its a 4 wire receptacle but i only use 2 or 3 of those 4. Back to the reading

The flatbed is one foot too narrow. I am thinking of adding a 2x6 of pressure treated wood on each side and then adding the heavy steel rails with tie downs on them.

Ignore the dog and look at the rusty corner. I am going to grind that down And fill all that space with this goop Eastwood Internal Frame Coating 14oz Aerosol. It is highly rated and i have had good results with other eastwood products

Update on the truck mess. I just found a steel flatbed for less than a replacement fender costs! I am going to go talk to the man this afternoon.

My good friend borrowed the ram 3500 and a rear tire blew and destroyed the fender. He felt terrible about it and is replacing it. I told him i am just glad he didnt get hurt! This is another reason why I like dually trucks. He still had 3 drive tires back there and could have limped for miles...

Got the rubber cowl/windshield gasket. It doesn't seem wide enough to completely fill the gap from front to back It looks like it will do a dandy job sealing out water though and it will look good on the outside. I am going to use some black permatex to be absolutely sure its watertight. Beats...

I am going to make the lip for the cowl vent taller so water wont leak in so easy and i am thinking plumbers putty for a water tight seal. I already have cleaned out the drain hole. But this fall i completely sealed the vent off in my frustration of having water pouring all over my behind dash...

Finally got around to ordering the windshield rubber gaskets and a replacement door window frame. Now i will be able to open both windshields and they will be weatherproof when closed AND my freakin door windows will finally work right!
