The package of plugs i bought sucked. They all got soft and sloppy. Hose clamps wouldnt affect performance correct? No power brakes

There is no tag and there are apparently hundreds of carter type carbs

The mystery screws 1,2 and 3 And nobody knows what those ports are for What they do Or which should be plugged or where they should be connected

The timing was way off. We couldnt even see the mark with the light until i rotated the distributor about 3 inches. I disconnected and plugged the vacuum advance Then We set it at the 10 mark and it starts instantly and seems stronger. Going to try the long uphill highway tomorrow

Test results Six of the cylinders 150 Two are at 160. Beens so cold it is tough to work on

150 on six cylinders 160 on two

It's 1f no wind today. Go warm it up and compression test Fingers crossed
