I would use the frame that came with the truck. Chassis engineering make a lot of good parts for that frame. Suspension and Motor . Plus the vin number is stamp on the frame and is located on the left frame somewhere between the cab and front cross member
I would check that frame real good before cutting the cage out. A lot of those cars the cage was part of the frame and cutting it out could make it weak,
I had one drive me nut on time. after doing everything I could think of i happen to jack the truck just that the tire was off the ground. As I was turning the wheel I notice the the tire was hitting the floor. Happen to be that both front tires were out of round. Just something to check

I agree. If your going for the 60's or early 70's look I would go with either a single or dual square lights mounted off the bottom tree. If not I would stay with the single round light

The motor was rated at 145 hp. It has small valve and runners in the heads. Because of the small bore 3.50 inches you are limited on what heads you can use. The larger valve heads the valves will hit the cylinder walls.

Spring clip to the rear of the knob . there may be a small notch at the rear of the knob. take a small screw driver put it behind the knob and push the spring clip forward, The knob should pull off.
