I agree. Anytime i see an item i'm interested in and it says "reserve not met" i won't even bother bidding on it. Either put a "buy it now" price or a "best offer" price on it.

That's one bitchin' roadster. I'd drive the snot outta that. IMO, since this is your first build, i'ld drive it for awhile to see what i liked best about it, or what i would have done differently.

I've tried that. The paint either chips very easily or starts to peal off after a few weeks. I should also say i don't have a sandblaster so that's out.

I just have a few small parts. Most shops aren't interested in only doing a few parts.

IMO it doesn't need very much. Maybe chop it 3", ditch the wheels for some chromies or some five spokes (with black walls), swap the valve covers for some finned aluminum valve covers, paint it the color of your choice (personally i would leave it flat black) and drive the hell out of it.

How's the best way to strip chrome? I plan on redoing my T-Bucket later this winter and i want to paint a few parts that are now chrome.

I always wanted to find an old flat fender minus engine/tranny/transfer case and build a cruiser. Use a dropped axle up front and a small V-6 with a 5 speed, or even a Pinto 2.3 4 banger. I like that concept drawing.

Oh man!!!! I can just see that slammed, painted candy apple red, chrome rims with baby moons and a little pinstriping, black and white tuck n roll with twin glasspacks with chrome pencil tips. Even basically stock those are sweet cars.

I just got back from the Taco Hell drive through and with the gear whine, choppy idle and little glass pack baffles the poor girl working the window couldn't hear a word i was saying. Here's some pics i took earlier today. I think it looks much better with the orange engine.
