I was bragging that I had a friend that had a similar car to yours, well I finally found a picture of it.

This is a stationary piece that has a notch in it to allow me to work on the end of a shaft, such as cutting a 'snap-ring groove'. You'll see the second picture that I bushed the one inch ID female end down to a 3/4" bushing to fit the spinning shaft.

Thanks OI. There was no progress today, because I got sidetracked, making a new piece for my lathe. Hopefully, I now can make snap-ring grooves in long shafts.

You know that old 'hotrod builders dance', one step forward and three steps back, then repeat. Well, --- I've had some negative progress lately, with no pictures to show on it, so, 'it didn't happen', right? Raising the truck back up a few inches and hooking up the shocks, hasn't gone well, but...

I was pretty sure that I built a hotrod, but I don't know that it's 'traditional'.
