Here is the start of the new lower spring brackets with shock mounts. I cut up the original spring mounts from the truck. I am just using the portion that the shock attaches to. I have some basic spring plates, and I will be welding the shock mounts and the plates together....here are the parts...

Emergency Brake cable bracket Been working on the rear axle. This axle is out of a 99 Jeep Cherokee, 8-1/4" with 3:55 gears. I installed the axle above the leaf springs and removed a couple of the leaf springs to get a lower stance. I bent up and installed some new brake lines, installed new...

Dropped steering arms 1952B3...did you ever drop the front axle? I wanted to know how you handled the tie rods and drag link if you did....I also read the posts on the HAMB, and that is a back up idea....I already have the dropped axel from SID and I am wading through the various options...

Rack and Pinion Skull, this is an intriguing idea...the photo on the right looks like a rack attached to a solid axle....is that something that you built?

POPS, the gears are 3:55.....I am also betting there will be some oil burning/smoke. I plan to update it later in its life, maybe a 360...the main goal at this point is to get it built, certified and licensed.

I "C" notched the frame and boxed it back in.....and I custom made some motor mounts. I used the original 318 brackets on the motor, but had to shorten them to get them closer to the block. I custom made the frame mounts for the motor...they are bolted to the frame and welded...I also fabricated...
