You ain't kidding! That was a couple of Trey's paychecks right there. We can't believe how it changed the truck from "Friendly Neighborhood Hot Rod" to "Makes Children Cry" with just a tire change!

Quick update. Trey is getting ready for the Hotrod HoDown and the Round-Up so he bought some Firestones for the front and Firestone Cheater Slicks for the back. As soon as he get them mounted we'll post a pic or two. He got a job as an apprentice electrician so he's got some coin in his pocket!!

54 Studebaker build. Where do I go from here? Seriously.

Here's my 1-1/2 cents. Before you get too far down the road, mock it up a few times and take pictures. Move the front axle around, move the cab up and down, move the ride height and take pictures each time so you can compare them side by side until you find a combination that has the look you...

Mixed signals on this 9"/8" rear... Help!

From appearances only it looks like the 9" carrier. I have an 8" in my son's truck and the pinion carrier does not extend down that low obstructing the two nuts underneath it. The 9" takes a wrench to get to those nuts.
