every time they show a futuristic show there is always a one wheel moto they jump in and take off like this is what the future moto bike will look like ... ... I kinda believed it till I seen this !!!!!! this picture was taken in 1927

Be interesting to follow the thinking process of the first guy to do this. That was some exotic engineering and fabrication then and still is.

In 1927 over head valves or independent suspension were still fairly exotic ideas.

The big wheel idea fails once it starts to wobble, it's deadly. Computer controlled self righting will eventually make it possible.

I think they called it Goventosa monowheel I guess thats the man who came up with it ??

I know, that carrot has been dangling about one decade out since I was a kid. I remember my Popular Science magazine, we were all supposed to be having flying cars and living on moon colonys a long time ago.
I'd like to see one of those singe wheel contraptions in action, get 'er up to top speed and hit the panic brakes and see if the human starts going around.
