12v / 10w cab lights?

I found some cool vintage styled lights that I think go on a bike. It says they are 12v with 10w bulbs. This doesn't sound very bright but might be do-able. My question is can you change out a brighter bulb since it's on a 12 volt system? I'm only using these for an accessory cab light on my truck so they really don't NEED to be very bright.

Do you think they will work?

They should work OK. You can go a bit higher on the wattage as long as the lenses aren't plastic.

Changing them out and how just depends on the set up - pictures would help. The only danger of higher wattage bulbs is heat - like melting a plastic housing, etc.

10w might be bright enough - use some jumpers to hook 'em up and see for yourself.
