Ok, I have 16" model A wheels on my truck. oes anyone know ifthey make a 16" 5 hole lug wheel to bolt right on to my 48 stock front end? Just some steelies is all I'm lookin for. Thanks in advance

They are not Model A wheels. 16" wires are 1935 only.

Don,I think he is looking for some steelies to replace the wires if i am correct.

16" steelies were made from 1940-48 with the 5 X 5.5" bolt circle. They aren't hard to find. Check ebay, craigslist and I just saw a bunch on the HAMB classified.

Well, sorry guys. I'm not as up on these trucks as some of you, andI appreciate your patience here. I had one steel wheel here at the house with an old tire on it. It bolted right up. But, it is 15" and not 16". I thought if I put a 15" on the front it would be too low for me. But, it was the same height as the 16" wire wheel I took off. I'm going with the wider tire on the front and using 15"'s. I will be placing an ad for the wire wheels later today for sale. I would trade them even up or a set of front drums, if anyone has any. I still need to find another steel front wheel 15" though. Thanks for all the help.

40 Ford wheels came in 16 inch and were solids. They came in 4 inch wide and 4.5 inch wide. Not hard to find on Ebay and various forums classifieds.
